  • What is the minimum age of children you offer babysitting?

Our nannies and babysitters are trained to care for babies and children of all ages, including newborns.

  • What is the maximum children quota per nanny?

In order to ensure that each child is given adequate attention, each nanny can care for a maximum of three children.

  • Is it possible to have the same babysitter each time?

When using our regular nanny service, you will get the same nanny every time, allowing them to form a relationship with your family. In the case of occasional babysitting this depends on their availability.

You will be able to set your preference through our app, and we will do our best to accommodate that. Tip: booking multiple dates at once will mean you get the same babysitter for all selected dates.

  • Can the babysitter send us updates during the job?

Babysitters will send an update via our app they one hour before the end of the job. This will include a full log with information about activities, mood, potty, bedtime, dinner and more. You will also have the option to open a live chat between you and the babysitter where you can ask questions, be sent pictures etc…

  • What nationalities are the babysitters?

We have both local and foreign babysitters.

  • How much in advance do we need to book?

For occasional babysitting, we recommended booking at least 2 days in advance. In case you need a babysitter at short notice, we will always try our best to accommodate your needs, but we can’t guarantee availability.

  • How do I book a babysitter?

The easiest way to book is via our app. Simply download the app for Android or iOS, create your profile, select the date and time and make your booking. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours. You will then be notified 15 minutes before the scheduled start to confirm that the babysitter is on their way.

For regular nanny service, you also need to create your profile before sending a request. Our team will then be in touch via phone or email to coordinate interviews with various nannies. Once you have chosen your nanny, we will assign them to you on the app. From there they will be able to complete regular jobs and check in and out easily.

  • Do I need to pay the babysitter directly?

No, for occasional babysitting, once the babysitter leaves your home, you will need to confirm their hours via the app. Once confirmed you will receive an invoice straight away where can pay with your credit or debit card.

For regular nannies, you will need to confirm the hours worked via the app at the end of every job. At the end of the month, an invoice will be generated based on the hours given. This can then be paid directly through the app via credit or debit card.

A full list of our rates can be found here. These rates are per hour, excluding 18% VAT.

  • Does the babysitter come to my home, or so I bring my child to yours?

Our babysitters come to your home to take care of your child in an environment that they know. We also cater for events such as weddings, where our babysitters can join you to keep your children occupied and entertained at a venue of your choosing.

  • Can nannies collect my children from school?

Yes, of course! You will need to fill up documents required by the school to grant them permission to pick up your child. The nanny will provide you with their identity documents you request.

  • What are the protocol in place regarding COVID for the babysitters and nannies?

We have taken COVID very seriously since the pandemic started. In the last two years, only two of our 150 nannies have tested positive, with no transmission to our families.

First of all, all nannies and babysitters wear a mask while working with clients. They will wash their hands on arrival, and make sure to sanitize both their hands and your children's regularly.

If a nanny goes abroad they have the obligation to inform us and provide a negative COVID test on returning to Malta before going back to work.

If a nanny has any symptoms or was in contact with a positive case they will stop working immediately and self-quarantine until they have a negative PCR test.

All our staff have also signed a legal notice document acknowledging that they shall respect mask wearing and social distancing in their private lives, and are not attending any mass gatherings.

Most of our nannies are fully vaccinated.
